The 77th Emmy award season is finally kicking off, and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will announce its official list of nominees on Tuesday, July 15 at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET. The announcement will take place at the Wolf Theatre in the Academy’s Saban Media Center in Los Angeles, but viewers can stream it live at home on the Academy’s website and official YouTube page.
Nominations will also broadcast on social media via the Emmy’s official Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok pages, as well as the event’s Brightcove feed. Actors Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”) and Brenda Song (“Running Point”) are set to announce the nominees alongside Television Academy chair Chris Abrego.

Though Netflix and HBO Max are expected to lead this year’s Emmys in nominations, Apple TV+ could boast the two most-nominated shows with “Severance” and “The Studio” and break a personal record for Emmy nominations across the platform. Other shows anticipated to garner nominations across several categories include HBO’s “The Penguin,” “The White Lotus,” “Hacks,” and “The Last Of Us,” Netflix’s “Adolescence” and “Monsters: Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” and Disney’s “Andor,” “The Bear” and “Only Murders in the Building.”
Winners will be announced at the Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sep. 14, at 5:00 p.m. PT. The event will take place at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Homebound fans can watch it live on CBS Television Network or stream it on Paramount+.
