Gaijin Entertainment and Atypical Games have officially announced the release date for Cubic Odyssey. This voxel-based open world adventure game is launching on May 14, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A free demo is now available on Steam, and players are encouraged to wishlist the game on their preferred platform.
Cubic Odyssey invites players to explore a vast galaxy filled with hundreds of distinctive planets and star systems. Each one of them offers its own secrets and challenges. Players will choose from four unique classes and take up arms against the Red Darkness. So, get ready to take down this growing threat that spreads across worlds and endangers all forms of life.
The game emphasizes creativity and freedom, allowing players to build nearly anything from modular blocks, whether it’s a small outpost or a massive spacefaring battleship. Exploration spans across planetary surfaces and deep space, with activities ranging from asteroid mining and space trading to pirate combat.
At launch, Cubic Odyssey will include three distinct game modes. Survival mode offers a story-driven experience centered on the fight against the Red Darkness. Creative mode unlocks all tools and materials for unrestricted building and experimentation. Adventure mode begins on an uncharted planet, giving players the freedom to forge their own path, develop new structures, and decide their destiny.
With its seamless transition between land, air, and space travel, Cubic Odyssey aims to offer a dynamic and open-ended sci-fi experience when it arrives next month.
