Taylor Zakhar Perez is no stranger to turning heads on-screen, with star-making roles on the sex comedy, “Minx,” and gay rom-com, “Red White & Royal Blue,” but the actor is making jaws drop with his latest project — a sultry underwear campaign for Lacoste.
Perez has been named the new global ambassador for Lacoste, appearing in a series of images and videos for the beloved French brand. Released Jan. 23, a clip from the campaign has already amassed more than 400,000 views on Lacoste’s Instagram page, with commenters understandably reacting in randy fashion.
“You couldn’t have chosen a better person, Tay is sculpted by God,” reads one comment. “This is a threat to my well-being,” reads another.

The new campaign video was shot by Belgian photographer Quentin de Briey and soundtracked by the 80s synth song, “Discowar,” from French band OTO. Shot in Paris’ 18th arrondissement, Perez’s Lacoste campaign was styled by Jason Bolden, who has long worked with the actor, and has also been working his red carpet magic for Nicole Kidman and Cynthia Erivo during the current awards season.
Lacoste says it wanted to bring to life “raw, sincere imagery,” playing with light and shadows to create “textured, intimate visuals.” Social media users have used slightly more forward language to describe Perez’s provocative pics, taking to X and Instagram to also post reaction memes to the seductive campaign.
Perez was among the guests seated in the front row of Lacoste’s Spring-Summer 2025 fashion show, which then led to his new role with the brand.
“It’s an honor to join Lacoste as an ambassador,” the actor says in a statement. “I’ve always admired the history, legacy, and creativity of the brand, and it’s with great pride that I now carry the values of the crocodile.”
Lacoste, meantime, calls Perez, “open-minded and forward-thinking,” adding that he “embodies values dear to the brand, such as generosity, respect for others, and boldness.”
