In chapter 203, Denji was still locked in combat with Fakesaw Man, but it was far from a clean fight. His new arms, made up of human bodies, started taking serious damage. As they screamed in pain, Denji hesitated. One of them begged him to go for Fakesaw’s heart.
Denji wasn’t sure it would work, but he tried anyway, only for Fakesaw to block the attack by shifting a human head right in front of the target. Not wanting to kill an innocent, Denji pulled back, and it cost him. Fakesaw landed a heavy blow that sent Denji crashing through a wall.
That’s when War Devil Yoru stepped in. She didn’t waste any time pointing out the obvious: if Denji couldn’t fight without holding back, he was already losing. Denji, still trying to cling to his better instincts, said killing those people would just make him less likable.
Yoru wasn’t impressed and reminded him that being a hero doesn’t mean much when people forget you the next day, like they did with Asa. She extended a hand, offering help. Before Denji could say anything, the ground started to rumble.
