Tonight, the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special airs on NBC—celebrating five decades of the hit sketch comedy show, with a slew of celebrity guest cameos. The red carpet premiere in New York City was extremely star studded: Kim Kardashian, Bad Bunny, Meryl Streep, Anya Taylor-Joy, and more all hit the step and repeat. One high-profile duo in the mix? Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who attended the occasion in their finest formal attire.
Lively opted for her signature red carpet look for the night: a glitzy floral-covered dress. (Fans of the star will recall she wore floral designs nonstop throughout her It Ends With Us press tour, as a nod to her character in the film, who is a florist.) Lively’s latest SNL look consisted of a silver Tamara Ralph sequin-covered gown, complete with floral embellishments throughout. For a more monochromatic finish, she accessorized with diamonds and strappy metallic hells. Reynolds, meanwhile, wore a classic black tuxedo, white dress shirt, and a bowtie.

Tonight marked one of Lively’s first major public appearances since reports of a legal battle between her and her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni emerged—a dispute which remains ongoing.
