In a major push into the Asian streaming market, global FAST network wedotv has inked a deal with Indonesian platform Dens.TV to launch four of its flagship channels, marking wedotv’s first foray into the region’s television landscape.
The pact, announced by Dens.TV chief content officer Ario Bagus Widyatmiko and wedotv co-CEO Philipp Rotermund, brings female-focused wedotv movies, outdoor/reality hub wedotv BIG stories, telenovela destination wedotv amor, and sports-centric wedotv sports to Indonesian viewers.
Dens.TV, which streams across mobile, set-top boxes, Smart TVs and web browsers, is enhancing its FAST channel offerings. “We are committed to continuously providing innovative and high-quality entertainment experiences for the Indonesian public. One of the ways is by offering free-to-watch television channels supported by advertisers in the form of FAST Channels. Dens.TV is proud to make history as the first streaming platform to introduce FAST channels in Indonesia“,” Widyatmiko said.
The Asian expansion represents the latest growth sprint for wedotv, which broadened its footprint across the U.K., Germany, Italy, the Nordics, Benelux, the U.S., Brazil and MENA markets in 2024. To spearhead the push eastward, the company has tapped veteran Singapore-based execs Greg Ang and Harold Gronenthal, who are steering regional efforts through Ang’s GangTV banner.

“We have wanted to enter the Asian market for some time, but we knew we needed a team on the ground with the right expertise,” said Rotermund. “Greg Ang and Harold Gronenthal are TV executives with tremendous experience in the region. Having them as part of our team will significantly enhance our ability to expand and progress across the region.”
The ad-supported Dens.TV platform targets young, tech-savvy Indonesian viewers with a mix of premium local and international programming available across devices.
