Amber Rose claimed that her ex Kanye West once forced her to wear a sheer dress despite her “crying and arguing against it.”
In a Wednesday interview on “Club Shay Shay,” the model reflected on West’s control over now-wife Bianca Censori’s style, recalling the time the controversial rapper forced her to wear a sheer dress.
“I remember crying,” she told Shannon Sharpe. “I was in like Italy or Paris or something and I remember crying and arguing with him and being like I don’t f–king want to wear this s–t, I don’t wanna wear it.”
She then admitted that she gave in when he said, “You don’t understand, it’s fashion, I’m a genius.”
“It’s like, OK, I still don’t wanna wear it but I went in wearing it, they ate me up on the internet.”
When Sharpe asked her why she went along with it while they dated from 2008 to 2010, Rose told him, “Well, I was young. I’m gonna tell Kanye no when I’m that young? Like you’re buying me all this nice stuff, I do look pretty and cool.”
However, she pointed out that when she was photographed by herself while dating West, she was wearing “his clothes.”
“I have baggy jeans on, T-shirt, big a– jacket,” the 41-year-old said, adding that she raided his closet because she hated “dressing like a whore.”
Rose also told Sharpe that West, 47, dresses his partners like he does because “he wants other men to want to f–k his women.”
“That’s what he’s into. He likes that. He likes that men are drooling over his women,” she added, saying that he did the same thing to her and ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
“He wants also his friends to want to f–k his girlfriend. He wants everybody that when you walk in a room, that his girlfriend or wife is the most desirable in the room. That’s what he likes.”
Last March, the OnlyFans creator claimed the Grammy winner had pushed her dress seductively despite her conservative views.
“I am conservative actually,” she said in an episode of “Just B with Bethenny Frankel.” “I have always been conservative since I was young.”
However, Rose said she was turned into “this sexpot type of girl” once she rose to fame for dating West in 2008.
“That was my first relationship with a celebrity ever but also in the public eye,” she explained. “And he knows a lot about fashion, and he always wanted me to dress very sexy.”
Rose said she was “young” and impressionable and went along with it despite knowing it was not a reflection of her true self.
After the couple split in 2010, the “College Hill: Celebrity Edition” alum said she could not shake her “sexy” image and felt “pigeonholed” into one category.
Now, West is influencing the way Censori, 30, dresses.
After the Australian model bared all in a sheer dress at the 2025 Grammys in February, the “All of the Lights” rapper admitted to having control over her in a wild rant on X.
“I have dominion over my wife. This ain’t no woke as[s] feminist s–t. She’s with a billionaire why would she listen to any of you dumb ass broke bitches,” he wrote on Feb. 7.
West then said he does not make Censori “do nothing she doesn’t want to” but declared she had to have his “approval.”
Since dating the fashion designer, the former Yeezy architect has worn several scantily clad outfits, including sheer thong bodysuits.
Sources told Page Six last June that she dresses and acts differently when she is not around her husband, whom she wed in December 2022.
