After seven years of dedicated work, German indie studio Zockrates Laboratories and US publisher Phiphen Games have released Ruffy and the Riverside. It is a charming hand-drawn 3D platformer now available on all major platforms. This includes PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Series X|S, as well as Nintendo Switch.
Priced at USD 19.99 (or local equivalent), the game is currently running a limited-time discount. Steam players can enjoy a 10% launch discount for the first week, with an additional 11% off available through a bundle that includes the game’s original soundtrack. On Xbox and Nintendo Switch, a 10% discount will be active for the first 72 hours.
The game introduces a standout mechanic called SWAP. This allows players to copy and paste textures from the environment to solve puzzles and assist Riverside’s friendly residents.
