Yellow Brick Games has launched the second free DLC update for Eternal Strands, adding bold new punk-themed cosmetics and performance upgrades in the Parasite Cosmetics Update. Players can now download the update on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
The studio teamed up with Suda51 and Tadayuki Nomaru from Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes, Romeo is a Dead Man) to create the new Gallant heavy armor set and Parasite weapon recipes. These updated designs transform the Kinetic Bow, Frost Sword and Shield, and Flame Two-Hander into chaotic new versions. Players must explore the Enclave to find these scattered recipes.
The update also enhances graphics performance. The team integrated Intel’s XeSS FG and XeSS XeLL to improve visual clarity and responsiveness. They also updated NVIDIA DLSS to version 4 and upgraded AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution to version 3.
In response to player feedback, the developers fixed various bugs and added quality-of-life improvements to streamline gameplay.
Eternal Strands encourages players to experiment with powerful magic and enchanted weapons in battles against massive ground and aerial enemies. The interactive world lets players freeze, burn, or throw environmental objects as part of their strategy. With free climbing and hidden areas to discover, the game rewards exploration and creativity.
The Parasite Cosmetics DLC update gives Eternal Strands a sharp new edge while continuing to grow its evolving world.
