Templar Media and developer Bible X have announced that Gate Zero, the upcoming time travel action adventure game, will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Initially revealed for PC via Steam, the game takes players into a dystopian vision of 2072, where a global authoritarian regime censors all historical truth.
The story follows Max, a young orphan who discovers a hidden time machine after his grandmother is arrested for owning a banned book, the Bible. As Max unlocks his family’s secrets, he travels back to 30 AD. Here, he will embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind stories the regime wants to erase.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, Gate Zero transports players to ancient Israel. They will explore bustling markets, avoid Roman patrols, and encounter historical figures in faithfully recreated settings. Along the way, Max must confront time agents from the future. As well as witness events that defy the regime’s version of history, including the miracles of Jesus.
