Brainseed Factory and Perp Games have officially launched Squishies on Meta Quest, bringing the beloved puzzle platformer to a new galaxy of players. Originally released on PCVR and PSVR, the game has been updated with improved visuals, better controls, fully unlocked content. It also features a smoother community experience, all now available in a standalone version for Meta Quest.
Squishies invites players to guide adorable, round alien creatures through over 100 single-player levels spread across five imaginative worlds. Using intuitive motion controls to blow or suck air, players roll and bounce the Squishies back home, avoiding pitfalls and hazards while collecting crystals and hidden eggs.
Each level is fully rotatable and scalable, allowing players to explore every corner and find secret routes. A newly added Mixed Reality mode lets users play in smaller spaces or while keeping an eye on their own surroundings, perfect for multitasking parents or curious pets.
The game also includes a fully featured Level Editor. Players can design and share their own puzzles using the same tools the developers used to build the game. Add creatures like the Rooster Rex or Centipede, experiment with power-ups, and explore maps created by other members of the Squishies community.
Squishies combines light-hearted charm with smart design in a colourful universe filled with alien flora, fauna, and tricky obstacles. The Meta Quest version is available now for £9.99 or 14.99€, with regional pricing subject to minor fluctuations.
