Machine Gun Kelly Celebrates Pete Davidson Expecting Baby With Pregnant Elsie Hewitt
Machine Gun Kelly is welcoming Pete Davidson to the celeb dad club with open arms.
While MGK (real name Colson Baker) has been a dad for a while, sharing 15-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon, he also welcomed a baby this year when he and ex Megan Fox welcomed daughter Saga Blade, 3 months, back in March. So when he found out his longtime pal was having a baby of his own, he was quick to share his excitement.
In the rapper’s July 23 Instagram post, he shared a snap with a big smile as he showed the comedian on his phone during a FaceTime call. And when Pete’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt announced on Instagram July 16 that they were expecting, MGK quickly commented, “these playdates bout to hittttt.”
Pete and MGK, who met on the set of MTV’s Wild ’N Out in 2017, grew even closer while filming the 2019 Mötley Crüe film The Dirt together in New Orleans. In an April interview with People, Pete referred to MGK as his “best friend.”
MGK, 35, has also spoken about their close bond, sharing that it all started with “a night on New Orleans together.”
“He was the only other person that smoked weed,” he recalled during a 2020 appearance on The Howard Stern Show. “So we were bonded over that.”

However, he went on to share that his friendship with Pete, 31, only grew from there.
“I don’t have any siblings, you know, so when you see someone like Pete, like that’s like my little brother,” the rapper shared. “He’s my best friend too.”
He continued, “It’s kind of like you have the opportunity to live that dynamic of having a sibling because I was the only child so obviously to me, that’s the dream, having a brother or sister or something, so Pete’s like that for me.”
